Dylan Morgan was president, Tony Lambert secretary and Ron Bell treasurer. Speakers included Renee Short MP, Christmas Humphreys QC, Peggy Jay, Edna O’Brien and Sir Edward Boyle. There were two demonstrations against the UDI (unilateral declaration of independence) by Southern Rhodesia, jointly organised with several other societies. A number of posters can be seen here.
